As a lifelong Chicagoan who's lived, worked, and played in many locales in the city and suburbs, I have been fortunate to experience so much of what makes Chicago and its environs special, and this experience informs my work as a real estate broker. I grew up in Chicago, Winnetka, and Highland Park, and since 2018, my family (including my husband, son, and our animals) and I have lived in seven homes. Our many moves, combined with my wide-ranging career history in the Chicago area, make me uniquely suited to provide the most empathetic and well-informed services to my clients. As their Realtor, I am their steadfast advocate.
I know very well from personal experience that buying and selling a home is a complex process, and that it can be confusing and overwhelming for buyer and seller alike. Both parties benefit from a knowledgeable, seasoned Realtor as a partner who can provide guidance and support, and who can skillfully anticipate and meet their many needs. My role as an advisor includes close, frequent collaboration with all stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and fellow Realtors. I synthesize and present the information from these sources to my clients in practical and comprehensible ways, advising them through all steps of the decision-making process. I was compelled to join Engel and Völkers because of their unmatched track record in customer service, collaboration, and professionalism.
After receiving a B.A. in Psychology from DePaul University, and a B.A. in Advertising Art from Columbia College, my career path led me to work as a Realtor, proofreader, florist, and volunteer coordinator for a nonprofit organization. Each position was uniquely meaningful and gratifying, and each contributed to the wide-ranging and adaptable skill set I now bring to my practice as a realtor. I always knew I would return to this career, and I am so happy to be doing so with Engel and Völkers.
My father used to say, “Don’t let the grass grow under your feet,” and I take his advice to heart to this day. I work tirelessly and meticulously, and am creative in putting my wide range of skills and my person-centered nature to good use in the service of my clients. The advisor-client relationship is the heart of all good real estate work: I value it above all else.
On a personal note, my family is my life’s driving force. When I am not working, we enjoy spending time exploring different neighborhoods, biking the labyrinthine Forest Preserve trails, drinking too much coffee, and eating delicious Bi Bim Bop (but not at the same time!). My dream is to own and operate a small inn, and to hire a neurodiverse staff to run it. Contributing to the greater good of my community in hands-on and grassroots ways is very important to me, and being of service to others is my life’s unifying theme, both personally and professionally.
